This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled in the member hub for Your Church Name Here.
This Hub is typically run as a dedicated instance for one church (not a multi-tenant marketplace).
Account data: name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash, not plain text), role (member/admin).
Optional contact details you add: phone number and mailing address (stored with your profile; shown on the Directory only if you opt in).
Optional profile photo you upload (shown on your profile and in the member Directory).
Content you provide: messages, prayer requests, meal sign-ups and notes, profile preferences.
Technical data: session cookies for sign-in, optional browser push subscription details if you enable push, and basic server logs from the host.
Optional church branding: logo image stored for this Hub instance.
To operate the Hub: authentication, messaging, prayer list, meal planning, directory, and notifications (in-app, and email/push if configured).
To communicate church-related notices you have opted into via notification preferences.
We do not sell your personal information.
Content you post may be visible to other members of Your Church Name Here’s Hub (and admins).
Directory: your name is listed with active members. Email, phone, and mailing address appear only when you enable each item under Profile → Directory contact. You may turn sharing off at any time.
Admins can see member emails in Admin for account management, separate from Directory sharing.
Infrastructure providers (for example website hosting and database hosting) process data only to run the service, under their terms with the account owner.
When email notifications or invites are enabled, an email delivery service processes the recipient address and message content needed to send those emails.
When browser or phone push is enabled, a push delivery service processes the technical subscription details needed to deliver alerts you requested.
Data is retained while your account is active and the Hub is operated for the church.
You may request deletion by using Delete my account in Profile, which removes your member record and cascaded personal data (messages you authored, sign-ups, notifications, push subscriptions, prayer requests you submitted).
Some residual backups may exist for a limited time with the hosting provider, according to their retention practices.
Admins may deactivate accounts without full deletion when needed for safety or records; contact an admin if you need help.
Update your display name and password in Profile.
Choose what contact details appear on the Directory under Profile → Directory contact.
Adjust email/push and category preferences under Profile → Notifications.
Export a copy of your data from Profile when available.
Delete your account permanently from Profile (with password confirmation).
This Hub is intended for members as authorized by the church. If a minor uses the Hub, a parent or guardian and church policy should govern appropriate use and consent.
